If you are thinking about moving to or starting a new business in Midtown this is definitely the meeting for you! The Annual meeting is a great opportunity to find out about all the upcoming projects in Midtown. Of course we'll cover the upcoming street project on Gray and Bagby, and there's an overlay project for Crawford, and the 10-Year Anniversary among other items all residents need to know about. But you can also learn how we work with area organizations to support our property owners with additional services and projects. We work together to keep area businesses in the loop and successful. Take advantage of all that Midtown has to offer as one of Houston’s most desired communities!

2010 Board of Directors Meeting Dates
Wednesday, August 4, 2010 * 6:00PM Annual Meeting
Wednesday, September 1, 2010
Come see what is happening in your neighborhood!
For 10 Years the Midtown Management District has been literally in the middle of it all and we’re still moving forward, 2010 is no exception. It is going to be another big year for Midtown but it is also a very special year, our 10th anniversary.
All Midtowners former and present are invited to take part in this event as we work to develop a time capsule of what Midtown was. If you have old photos, news clippings, articles or objects of interest that you can provide copies of please get them to our staff. If your grandparents or great grandparents lived in the neighborhood we want to hear from you. There are some truly amazing stories and people from this area which was one of the first residential neighborhoods in Houston. To celebrate the community we have become we’ll be taking a look back at where we were. You’ll see interesting historical pieces in upcoming issues of the midtown paper. All of our annual community events will be geared toward celebrating this milestone expect them to be bigger and better. We’re even adding a few new ways you can get out and enjoy the place you live, work and play. Keep an eye on the news, if you haven’t signed up to receive the weekly Midtown Enews, now is the time. We have a full 17-member volunteer board of directors. Most of whom are your neighbors. There are a number of dedicated area residents and business owners who work to keep this community humming along, but in a neighborhood of 15,000 we need more. We need you, your ideas and yes, your time for a few hours a month. What better way to celebrate a 10 year anniversary than to be a part of shaping the next 10.
